Dear all troops, defense workers, laborers, militiamen, and reserved force nationwide,
On the occasion of Tet 2024, on behalf of the CMC, MND, I would like to inquire after and send all best wishes to you.
In 2023, under the leadership of the Party, State, CMC, MND, and leaders at all levels, the close coordination of all sectors, organs, and local authorities, and thanks to the support of the people nationwide, the troops, defense workers, laborers, militiamen, and reserved force nationwide comprehensively accomplished all assigned tasks with good outcomes. Especially, they actively grasped situations, made recommendations to the Party and State so as to firmly protect the national sovereignty while ensuring an environment of peace, stability for construction and development.
The military played the core role in the building of the whole-people defense posture and the firm people’s defense, security and heart posture, and firm defensive areas, well performing training, observing military discipline and regulations, building a healthy and strong Party, building an exemplary and politically-strong military, among others. The military also effectively conducted international integration and defense external affairs, raised the quality of technical services and logistics supplies, developed defense industry, leaving good impression on people and international friends.
2024 is an important year of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 11th Military Party Congress. Therefore, units in the whole military should continue to promote the revolutionary heroism and the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People’s Army and the Militia and Self-Defense Force, the noble virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, striving to gain higher results to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, 80th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People’s Army, and the 35th anniversary of the Whole People’s Defense Festive Day, deserving the trust and love of the Party and State, the country and people.
