Military women performing their task |
In the letter, Lich extended his best wishes to all female service members of the military. He said that over the past years, under the leadership and instruction of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and leaders of their units, support of local leadership and people and close coordination of both military and civilian agencies and units, generations of military women have effectively promoted beautiful virtues and glorious traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army and Vietnamese women.
Women throughout the military have united to face all challenges to effectively fulfill all assigned missions. They have actively performed training and combat readiness missions and participated in different fields, including education, production, logistics, engineering, finance, military medicine, and communications, among others.
Achievements recorded by military women have greatly contributed to the building of a revolutionary, regular, elite, and increasingly modernized military and to the national construction and defense cause. They deserve the compliment, “Patriotism, solidarity, creativity, faithfulness and resourcefulness,” given by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense.

They participate in social activities. |
Praising their excellent achievements over the past years, the Defense Minister hoped that in the new revolutionary period, military women continue promoting the beautiful virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality and lifestyle. He urged them to promote the implementation of movements, build strong women’s union organizations and comprehensively strong units and fulfill all assigned missions, contributing to the efforts of the Party, people, and military in implementing the renewal process.
