During the visit, General Giang lauded Regiment 935 for its effective task performance over the past time.

Giang said that in the coming time, the Party committees and chains-of-command at all levels should promote education and training to raise troops’ political knowledge and their professional competence. In addition, the unit should closely follow situational developments to deal with any circumstances, contributing to firmly protecting the waters, islands and airspace in the southern part of the country.

The defense minister urged Regiment 935 to pay attention to capacity building. Particularly, the unit should increase the quality of human resources and improve the command of foreign languages for military pilots so that they can better integrate into the international environment. 

Giang also requested the regiment’s troops to strictly observe regulations and effectively carry out training and combat readiness missions to firmly safeguard the nation.

He also asked the Air Defense – Air Force Service to take care of troops and defense workers, especially pilots’ families, so that they can be at ease to fulfill all assigned missions.
