After observing the venue from above, General Giang and the delegation directly checked the military region’s exercise command post, map system, fortifications, accommodation for participating troops, and maintenance area for weapons and technical equipment serving the exercise.

Having completed the inspection, the defense minister praised the military region’s thorough preparations for the event and asked agencies and units to continue to review and adjust documents to be in line with reality and foster close coordination among forces. 

He urged the military region to add more technical and logistics facilities and well carry out logistics work to ensure troops’ health during the exercise.

General Phan Van Giang requested participating forces to strictly comply with military discipline and regulations of the Defense Ministry’s Exercise Steering Committee; maintain solidarity between agencies, units, and local authorities, people; creatively apply theory to carry out the contents of the drill. He added that units joining field contents must strictly observe principles, regulations, and procedures of managing and using weapons, ammunition, and technical equipment to ensure absolute safety while performing tasks.
