Trinh Van Quyet, Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Tan Cuong, and Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Vo Minh Luong. Other Deputy Defense Ministers are Sr. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien, Le Huy Vinh and Pham Hoai Nam.
