During the meeting, delegates discussed the implementation of tasks that combine socio-economic development with strengthening defense and security in Military Region 3’s localities. They placed special emphasis on infrastructure development aimed at promoting economic growth, enhancing defense capabilities, and firmly safeguarding national sovereignty. Agencies, units, and local authorities are currently working to stay on schedule by conducting surveys, gathering data, and studying appropriate solutions to ensure coordinated implementation.

Concluding the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc asked relevant agencies of the Ministry of National Defense to work closely with Military Region 3 and Hai Phong city on overall planning to ensure projects are implemented in a consistent, coordinated, and effective manner. He stressed that project implementation must closely link socio-economic development with efforts to strengthen defense and security potential.

The Deputy Defense Minister also called for close attention to investment efficiency and the timely removal of obstacles to ensure tasks are carried out properly and in accordance with regulations. He further stressed that Hai Phong city should prioritize the development of essential infrastructure to improve living standards and make the most of local advantages.
