Concluding the working session, Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San praised Army Corps 16’s efforts in task performance, especially in social security and care for ethnic minority people, contributing to building a more stable and developed border area.

In the time to come, the unit should focus on building a clean and strong Party organization; effectively implementing military-defense tasks; and maintaining military discipline and regulations, particularly combat readiness posture, to name but a few.

An overview of the event

Meanwhile, Army Corps 16 should require its agencies and units to promote training activities and exercises on natural disaster prevention and search and rescue work; pay more attention to taking care of troops’ spiritual and material life; and closely collaborate with local authorities to effectively carry out mass mobilization work, thereby consolidating the firm people's heart posture, etc.
