Army Corps 16 presents houses of gratitude to national contributors
PANO – Army Corps 16 in association with the local authorities held a ceremony on September 23 to hand over two houses of gratitude to needy families in Loc Thanh commune, Loc Ninh district, Binh Phuoc province.
After over three months of construction, the two houses were completed and handed over to the families of Mr. Pham Ngoc Na in Tan Binh 1 hamlet and Mrs. Thi Sooc in K Lieu hamlet.
The two houses have the areas from 55 to 60 sq.m. with one living room, one bedroom, one kitchen, and other additional constructions.
Each house costs from VND 85 to 95 million, with VND 80 million from Army Corps 16 via the “Red flower color” program launched by the Online Newspaper of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
At the ceremony, representatives of Army Corps 16, Regiment 717, and the local authorities presented four sets of gifts to the families.
Previously, Army Corps 16 accompanied the 15th “Red flower color” program launched by the Online Newspaper of the Communist Party of Vietnam. During the program, the organizers presented 100 gifts to policy beneficiaries and national contributors in Hon Quan district, began the construction of five houses of gratitude in Bu Dop and Loc Ninh districts.
