The monument was inaugurated on June 30, 2023, at the intersection of Ho Chi Minh street and Prosveshcheniya avenue to mark the 100th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s first arrival in Petrograd (now Saint Petersburg). The construction aimed to pay tribute to one of the greatest figures in history and a shining example of patriotism and national heroism.
