Dak Lak border troops enhance border protection ahead of National Day
PANO - In order to ensure security, order and safety in border areas on the occasion of the National Day (September 2), the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command required its affiliated units stationed along the borderline to thoroughly grasp situation and closely coordinate with local authorities and forces to raise combat readiness and intensify border management and protection.
This information was announced by Senior Colonel Nguyen Cong Tuan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, on August 28.

Accordingly, the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command has directed its agencies and units to strictly maintain combat readiness posture, thoroughly follow local situation, synchronously implement measures and strengthen patrolling to well control and manage border areas, while pro-actively collaborating with the Cambodian border protection force to exchange information and conduct joint patrols to detect and handle illegal exit and entry, and sabotage activities of reactionary forces in a timely manner. Meanwhile, the agencies and units should master combat plans, prepare enough personnel and vehicles for the missions when requested.
According to Senior Colonel Nguyen Cong Tuan, the National Day is a significant event of the country. Therefore, border troops always keep focused and heighten their responsibilities to deal with any circumstances in border areas.
Earlier, the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command boosted information dissemination about seizing illegal weapons, explosives and others in border areas, contributing to preventing activities of different kinds of crimes in border areas in the upcoming holiday.
