During the implementation, the agencies and units pointed out difficulties and limitations of the GDT’s software so that the GDT could improve and supplement several features for the software. Up to now, they have built most of the identification codes for technical equipment group 2 and technical supplies. This database has initially demonstrated the superiority of the electronic identification code framework of the technical sector. When completed, it will become a common platform to manage the quantity, type, and conditions of weapons, equipment, and technical materials; contributing to building a digital ecosystem for the technical sector in management and operation.

Speaking at the conference, Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh acknowledged and praised the obtained results by agencies and units in building a database and digital transformation.

In the time to come, the deputy defense minister required the GDT to continue to instruct and urge the technical sector to finalize the database and address arising issues during the implementation in a timely manner.

Meanwhile, Command 86 should coordinate with functional agencies and the technical sector to ensure security, safety and confidentiality for the GDT’s software and the database.
