Army Corps 1 practices response to forest fire
PANO - As part of the ongoing refresher course on civilian defense for Northern military units, participants of the course observed a model training team of Division 390 of Army Corps 1 practicing a mock-up situation of responding to forest fire on May 26.
According to Senior Colonel Pham Hai Chau, Deputy Director of the Department of Search and Rescue under the General Staff and Deputy Head of the Organizing Panel of the course, the mock-up situation is close to reality and will help participants understand all steps of the local agency in response to a forest fire when it happens.
Notably, it highlights collaboration among the military, police and other local forces in response to natural disasters and search and rescue missions, contributing to improving their task performance in the time to come.
Below are several photos of the model training team of Division 390 of Army Corps 1 in practicing response to a forest fire.
