Air Defense - Air Force Service opens live-fire exercise
PANO - The Air Defense - Air Force Service opened a live-fire exercise for its affiliated air defense units at shooting range TB1 on September 7 under the direction of Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, the Service’s Commander.
Participating units practiced firing with several antiaircraft weapons.
The exercise aimed to evaluate training outcomes and combat readiness capabilities of participating units, especially modern antiaircraft fire detachments. Through the exercise, quality of weapons, technical services and combat teams’ expertise were checked as well.
The exercise was a chance to improve command and combat capabilities of the participants, especially in night combat and complicated situations.
Before the exercise concludes, lessons will be drawn to make the command, operation and training closer to real situations, so that requirements of the air defense missions in the current period will be met.
