Air Defense - Air Force Academy completes live-fire exercise
PANO - The Air Defense - Air Force Academy successfully organized a one-side, two-level command exercise with live-fire contents for its cadets on May 16 to 20.
Major General Bui Duc Hien, Second-in-Command of the Air Defense - Air Force Service, attended and directed the exercise.
The event aimed to summarize military and political theoretical knowledge that has been applied to the organization and operation of missile battalions, radar stations, anti-aircraft artillery companies during different phases of combat. Through the exercise, participating cadets would raise their bravery, master their skills and movements in combat readiness posture shifting, and thoroughly grasp regulations, procedures, methods of advisory work, to name but a few.

After five days, despite harsh weather conditions, participants showed high determination and creativity and accomplished all assignments. The exercise was a success, meeting set targets and ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.

The success of the exercise was seen as an important premise to help cadets complete the upcoming tasks and a basis to evaluate the training quality of the course.
