During the visit, delegates heard a report on the history and tradition of the Air Defense - Air Force Academy, its training programs and activities, and management of international trainees. According to the report, in realizing the mission of fostering international cooperation in education and training assigned by the Ministry of National Defense, the academy has thoroughly grasped the Party’s guidelines and resolutions on international solidarity and cooperation and created the favorable condition for international trainees during their study in Vietnam.

Relevant agencies, departments of teachers, and education management units have focused on enhancing international trainees’ motivation, activeness, pro-activeness, and self-discipline spirit. Thanks to that, academic results of international trainees have been gradually enhanced. Many graduated trainees are holding important positions in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.

At the event, cadets of the Air Defense - Air Force Academy and trainees of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces exchanged experience in conducting education and training and scientific research missions associated with practical activities of training international students at the academy.
Delegates continued to affirm the traditional friendship, solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia that is developing sustainably under the motto “good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability.”

Also, officers, instructors, and trainees of the National Defense Academy visited the Air Defense - Air Force Academy’s training operating room, specialized lecture hall, and anti-aircraft artillery command post, and modern training facilities. Knowledge and experience gained during the trip are useful and hold practical values for the Cambodian officers.
