ADAF Service hosts 2024 fire fighting and prevention competition
PANO - The Air Defense - Air Force (ADAF) Service held the fire fighting and prevention competition in 2024 for agencies, units, and factories in the Northern region on May 15.
Sixteen teams competed in the theory and practice contents. The theory content includes the building and reporting a fire fighting and prevention plan, and basic knowledge about fire fighting and prevention. In the practical content, participating teams engage in extinguishing fires using handheld fire extinguishers, rescuing people, relocating assets, and preventing fire from spreading.
In his opening speech, Major General Bui To Viet, Deputy Political Commissar of the Air Defense - Air Force Service, emphasized that the organizing panel, the jury, and the referee team should conduct the competition according to the plan, ensuring accurate, honest, and objective evaluation.
He urged all participating officers and soldiers to perform with the highest sense of responsibility, strictly follow the schedule and regulations of the competition, and ensure absolute safety in all activities.
