Exercise on waterway fire fighting and SAR held in HCMC

At the exercise

The event attracted the participation of border guard and public security forces, and voluntary and local youths.

Thanks to the good preparations of personnel, equipment, and vehicles, the participating forces completed all set contents of the exercise while ensuring absolute safety.

On the occasion, the municipal Youth Chapter held an activity to update youths, children, and local people on the regulations and situation of inland waterways traffic safety.

The organizers also handed over 50 lifejackets to children and people living near Phuoc Khanh Ferry. 

This program was part of the practical activities of local youths to raise public awareness of ensuring safety while travelling by waterway vehicles.
