The GDP deputy chief required them to enhance solidarity, maintain the good virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers; effectively implement policies for troops’ relatives; pay more attention to caring for troops with difficult conditions; strictly observe combat readiness regulations; ensure a joyful, safe and economical Tet holiday for troops.

Earlier in the morning, Gen. To inquired after and sent Tet greetings to former GDP Deputy Chief Lt. Gen. Le Van Han; offered incense in tribute to late Sr. Lt. Gen. Song Hao, former Deputy Defense Minister and former GDP Chief at his house.
* A delegation of the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense and GDP, led by GDP Deputy Chief Lt. Gen. Do Xuan Tung inspected Division 316, Brigades 604 and 297 under Military Region 2 (MR2).
Lt. Gen. Do Xuan Tung applauded the achievements obtained by the units in 2024, requiring them to strictly implement orders, directives and resolutions of the Party committees and chains-of-command at all levels on combat readiness and the organization of the Lunar New Year 2025; and ensure a happy, healthy, safe, and economical Tet holiday for officers and soldiers while maintaining high combat readiness posture.
* The same day, Lt. Gen. Do Xuan Tung led the delegation to check combat readiness regulation observance and extend Tet greetings to troops of Me Island’s mixed battalion and forces on duty on the island, Thanh Hoa province.

Gen. Tung requested the units and other forces to strictly maintain combat readiness observance; closely follow situations in the air and at sea; ensure a warm Tet holiday for troops; pay more attention to taking care of troops’ material and spiritual life; and coordinate with local authorities in protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands, among others.
On the same day, the delegation visited and sent Tet greetings to Regiment 923, Division 371, the Air Defense - Air Force Service.
