In Ha Tinh province, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet commended the province for its socio-economic, defense, and security achievements after reviewing its overall performance in 2024. He highlighted the province's impressive economic growth, successful new-style rural development, and a remarkable VND 57,000 billion in investment mobilization, surpassing the target by 19 percent, which greatly enhanced socio-economic development and improved people' living standards.

Looking ahead to 2025, Gen. Quyet hoped that Ha Tinh province would “accelerate and make breakthroughs” to achieve the objectives set by resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress and the Ha Tinh provincial Party Organization. He urged the province to streamline administrative structures and build an effective political system, enhance the social welfare of its citizens, review unresolved issues in its development goals and find timely solutions. The GDP chief believed that the province's leadership and its people's solidarity would enable the locality to achieve its goals.

On this occasion, Gen. Quyet presented gifts to the Ha Tinh provincial Military Command, the provincial Border Guard Command, the provincial Public Security, and the Ha Tinh provincial Veterans’ Association. He also presented 600 Tet gifts to policy families, national contributors, needy households, and disadvantaged workers in the province. Later, he visited and paid tribute to fallen youth volunteers at the Dong Loc T-junction Special National Historic Site.

The same day, Gen. Quyet visited and extended Tet greetings to officers and soldiers of military units in Military Region 4, including the provincial Military Commands and Border Guard Commands of Ha Tinh and Nghe An provinces, as well as the Military Region 4 Command.

He praised the units for their outstanding achievements in combat readiness, training, and disaster prevention efforts. He emphasized the need to maintain high vigilance and proactively monitor all situations, ensure thorough preparations for combat readiness, provide support for troops’ families and policy beneficiaries, especially those in border areas and on islands.

On the occasion of the lunar New Year Festival 2025, Gen. Quyet extended his best wishes to all officers and soldiers of Military Region 4. He encouraged them to uphold their traditions, remain united, overcome challenges, and excel in their missions to protect national sovereignty and ensure a peaceful life for the people.
