Report delivered at the event revealed that over the past time the Party committee and authorities of the Northern district has paid attention to directing and creating favorable conditions for military and public security forces to carry out enlistment plan.

The enlistment work has been conducted carefully and democratically and as regulated. Local party committees and authorities, in collaboration with political and social organizations, have encouraged and disseminated information to help youths determine their resolve to join the military. 

Earlier on February 9, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau led a mission of GDP visited and checked task performance of the Military Command of Dong Van district, Ha Giang province.

The mission visited, inspected, and presented gifts to troops of the Military Command of Dong Van district and learned about local situation and the district’s implementation of ideological and military work and enlistment in 2023.

On behalf of GDP’s leaders, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau praised and highly appreciated the district’s outcomes in enlistment work in 2023. He expressed his hope that the Military Command of Dong Van district will continue striving to overcome all difficulties to fulfill all assigned missions; actively give recommendations to and cooperate with local Party committee, authorities, organizations, and people to foster economic development in border areas and defense and security consolidation; effectively participate in hunger elimination, poverty reduction, new-style rural area building; build the whole people's defense disposition.
