PANO – Together with military units in the whole nation, border units held ceremonies to receive new recruits in 2022, ensuring absolute safety and following COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.

In detail, Soc Trang province’s border units received 60 new enlistees from seven districts, towns, and city of the province. The enlisted youths are of good health, meeting all criteria to serve in the military.

* This year, the Long An provincial Border Guard Command received 290 new recruits from 12 districts, towns, city of the province while the Binh Dinh provincial Border Guard Command received 170 youths, including 100 youths from localities in the province and 70 youths from the Phu Yen provincial Border Guard Command.

* Meanwhile Ba Ria - Vung Tau province sent 1,729 recruits from 12 localities to military units.

In Khanh Hoa, after receiving recruits, military units conducted COVID-19 prevention measures, such as measuring their body temperature, guiding them to complete health declaration forms, and re-checking their health as regulated by the Ministry of National Defense to ensure that all troops are qualified for the new training season.

* In 2022, Quang Binh border units received 80 recruits from eight districts, towns, and city of the province and 65 recruits from Da Nang city. Cao Bang border units received 140 new enlistees and the Vietnam Border Guard Command handed over 485 youths to its Training Center.
