Commending the achievements of the department’s Party organization during the previous term, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh emphasized that the Party Committee of the Department of Military Security Protection had successfully led the unit in fulfilling its assigned missions. Their performance has been highly appreciated by the leadership of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Political Affairs, and relevant agencies, making a significant contribution to the overall accomplishments of the GDP over the past five years.

Regarding orientations and tasks for the new term, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh requested the Party Committee to strictly implement the Party’s, State’s, and military’s regulations and guidelines on national and military security, particularly in internal political protection, secrecy, and safety. He urged the committee to coordinate closely with relevant agencies and units both inside and outside the military to closely monitor the situation and proactively propose preventive measures.

These efforts aim to effectively detect, prevent, and neutralize all plots and subversive activities targeting national and military security. The department is also expected to work in coordination to ensure absolute safety and security for all activities of the Party, State, and military.

* On June 13, a delegation from the General Staff (GS) of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by its Deputy Chief, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, presented financial support for the construction of gratitude houses and great unity houses, as well as gifts for policy beneficiaries in Quang Nam province.

At the event, the GS provided funding for the construction of five gratitude houses and ten great unity houses in Quang Nam province. The delegation also presented gifts to 80 policy families and 30 underprivileged students in Nam Giang district, with a total budget of more than VND 1.2 billion.

On this occasion, the delegation also laid wreaths and offered incense at the Quang Nam provincial War Cemetery and the Monument to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Tam Phu commune, Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province.
