The delegation touring Dien Ban town’s Military Command

During visits to the Military Commands of Dien Ban town (under Quang Nam provincial Military Command), Cam Le district, and Da Nang city, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien praised the responsibility shown by local authorities and commanders in implementing resolutions and conclusions from higher levels regarding the reorganization of local military units. He also commended the achievements in defense and military work during the first half of 2025. In addition, he thanked local authorities for supporting the military and armed forces in both wartime and peacetime operations.

He urged the units to strictly implement the Party and State’s directives on restructuring local military forces, stabilize organizational structures and facilities promptly, and maintain smooth operations without disrupting military and defense missions, including border-related work. He also emphasized the need to maintain combat readiness, closely monitor developments, and provide timely recommendations to higher authorities to respond effectively in any situation.

* On the same day, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, Deputy Minister of National Defense, inspected the Commando Corps’ implementation of technical work and digital transformation efforts.

Since early 2025, the Commando Corps has actively carried out logistics and technical work. Subordinate units have closely monitored conditions and provided timely recommendations to unit leaders for effective management of weapons and equipment used in training and operations. Digital transformation efforts have also yielded positive results.

After inspecting Depot T342, General Vinh urged the corps to further enhance technical management, particularly in promoting the “Good, durable, safe, and economical management, employment, and use of weapons and equipment, and traffic safety” movement. He also asked the corps to ensure adequate logistical and technical support for counter-terrorism operations and safeguarding national sovereignty over maritime territories and islands. In addition, he encouraged the effective adoption of digital logistics and technical systems, support for innovation and research, and the development of a highly skilled IT and digital transformation workforce.
