As the host unit, Division 390 under Army Corps 12 has completed the training ground on schedule; arranged accommodations and living conditions for the organizing panel, jury, referees, and participating teams. This year’s festival features 14 teams competing in three events, namely the special obstacle course, the relay race, and the finish. Currently, 10 teams have arrived at Division 390 for training and familiarization with the course. The festival is scheduled to take place from June 23 to 27, 2025.

On the same day, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff inspected defense and military activities, as well as the restructuring of local military agencies in Nghe An province under the new two-tier local government model.

Following the inspection and briefings, General Ngoc praised the efforts of the provincial armed forces and instructed the units to continue thoroughly reviewing the reorganization process to ensure compliance with regulations and alignment with their new missions.

During the event, General Tan commended the department’s proactive leadership and organization of Party congresses at all levels. He endorsed the unit’s performance assessments and supported its proposed directions, objectives, key breakthroughs, and leadership strategies for the 2025–2030 term.

The inspection team concluded that Brigade 229, under the Engineering Corps, had effectively carried out directives and plans regarding Party and political work, contributing to improved overall quality, combat readiness, and the development of strong Party organizations and exemplary units.

At the session, General Minh emphasized the need for the brigade to strictly observe combat readiness regulations, complete training programs, strengthen routine practices and discipline, and strive toward becoming a comprehensively strong, exemplary unit.

* On June 10 and 11, GDP Deputy Chief Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To attended the Party Congress of the Military University of Culture and Arts. He acknowledged the university’s achievements and urged its Party Organization to rigorously implement resolutions on education and training. He also highlighted the importance of applying digital technology in teaching and performance, and in meeting the cultural needs of military personnel and the public.

Gen. To further directed the university to focus on building a team of qualified and virtuous instructors and fostering a healthy, cultured environment. He called for unity and efforts to develop a strong, exemplary Party Organization and a comprehensively capable institution.
