2015 military school enrollment underlined

PANO - Senior Lieutenant General Pham Xuan Hung, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army cum and First Deputy Head of the Ministry of National Defence’s Military Enrollment Committee, on January 15th chaired a video conference to work out tasks for the 2015 university entrance exams.
Last year, the whole army units gained considerable results in military enrollment in accordance with regulations of the State and the Defence Ministry. Thanks to their active popularization, over 40,000 students sit for exams to army schools, an increase of 2.41 per cent against 2013.
Besides, military schools also fulfilled enrollments for postgraduate programs and other courses, in order to improve troops’ professionalism.
This year, the Ministry’s Military Enrollment Committee will continue to make good recommendations on this work to the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defence, improve the quality of university entrance exams, and well conduct postgraduate enrollment, contributing to building up the strong regular army.
