Secretary of the Party Committee of the hospital Liu Honglin briefed the Vietnamese guests upon the hospital’s establishment and development, especially its support and treatment for Vietnamese wounded and sick soldiers during hard times in the struggle for national salvation of Vietnam.

On behalf of the Vietnamese delegation, Colonel Dung thanked the host for their warm reception. He emphasized that from 1969 to 1975, Nan Xishan Hospital gave treatment to more than 5,000 wounded and sick soldiers of Vietnam. The hospital, together with the Chinese people, reinforced the Vietnamese people’s resistance war against U.S. imperialists, and their struggle for national salvation.
