The patrol team from Nghia Thuan Border Post teamed up with their counterpart from China’s Babu Border Police Post to check the shared borderline and border markers from No.323 to 325 and concluded that they were all kept intact.

During the patrol, the joint teams assessed that the order and security in the border areas were upheld and no sign of violations of law and national border and territorial sovereignty was found. They also discussed their coordination in border protection and agreed on their cooperation in the second quarter of this year.
Lt. Col. Do Hong Thai, Second-in-Command of Nghia Thuan Border Post informed that in the coming time, the two sides will boost information exchange, particularly those related to border, crime prevention and control. They will also conduct more joint patrols at trails and open paths, to help build the Vietnam-China border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.
Meanwhile, patrol teams from Thang Tin Border Post and border and police forces of China’s Mengdong Substation inspected the law enforcement work along the 2.5km shared border between Vietnam and China and checked the status of markers 227 and 228. The patrol was completed despite bad weather conditions and risky terrains.

The same day, Son Vi Border Post joined hands with Tianpeng border police station, Heping Substation, Tianbao Border Station of Immigration Inspection patrolled a border section from markers 491, 492 to marker 492/1.
Apart from marker inspection, the patrol teams, led by Second-in-Command of Son Vi Border Post Major Phung Van Son, and Political Commissar Lu Guangming from Heping Substation, updated each side’s situations and reached agreement on time, places, and contents of future patrols.
Such regular patrols aim to help the two sides prevent crimes and deal with possible cases emerging in the designated border areas in a timely manner.
