Joint patrols for border management and protection

PANO - Conducting bilateral and joint patrols to manage and protect border areas is a regular mission for border units and their counterparts in neighboring countries. During patrols, both sides inspect border lines and landmarks to ensure their integrity. They also exchange information on developments in border areas to coordinate responses to issues related to territorial sovereignty, national border security, and social order.

Naval Region 5 boosts joint patrols for peace, stability in southwestern waters

The Honghe Border Management Team, Jin Shuihe Border Immigration Checkpoint (Yunnan, China), and Lai Chau provincial Border Guard Command (Vietnam) conduct a joint patrol in February. This patrol was led by the Chinese side.

Patrol Team No.1 of the Lai Chau provincial Border Guard Command, accompanied by two liaison officers from the Honghe Border Management Team, conduct a patrol at landmark No. 62.

The Hue municipal Border Guard Command (Vietnam) and the Sekong provincial Military Command (Laos) conduct a bilateral patrol along the Vietnam-Laos border.
