Leaders of the Ha Tinh provincial Border Guard Command sent best wishes to personnel of the Lao side and hoped that the solidarity between his command and the Lao units will be consolidated in the time to come.

Saying thanks to the good sentiments, thoughtfulness and support from the Ha Tinh provincial Border Guard Command, leaders of the Lao military and public security units expressed their hope that the two sides will boost coordination to complete each side’s duties.

Over the past time, despite the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the two sides have regularly exchanged information, situational developments, closely worked to carry out tasks and effectively prevent crimes, especially drug-related ones. Their cooperation has contributed to ensuring local security and order, and firmly defending border sovereignty and security.

Apart from information exchange and crime prevention, the two sides will conduct joint patrols to protect the national border and border marker system, monitor and control immigration, and hold exercises, among others.
