The Vietnamese patrol team of the Thua Thien Hue provincial Border Guard Command was headed by its second-in-command, while the Lao team was led by the second-in-command and chief of staff of the Sekong provincial Military Command.

Despite adverse weather conditions, both sides overcame difficulties to check Border Marker 666. All steps and procedures adhered strictly to external affairs protocols and the pre-agreed plan between the two sides.

After completing ceremonies at Border Marker 666, the teams continued their patrol, inspecting the borderline and border markers along the shared border segment from Marker 666 to Marker 667.

This practical activity between the Thua Thien Hue provincial Border Guard Command and the Sekong provincial Military Command aimed to enhance exchanges on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of Whole-People Defense Festival Day, and the 60th anniversary of the Thua Thien Hue provincial Border Guard’s foundation day.

Below are photos of the bilateral patrol between the Thua Thien Hue provincial Border Guard Command and the Sekong provincial Military Command.
