Thua Thien Hue border guards give necessities to Lao locality
PANO - The A Dot Border Post of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Border Guard Command in association with the Vietnam Fatherland Front A Luoi District Committee presented necessities to the armed forces and people of Kalo village, Kaleum district, Sekong province, Laos on September 13.

At the event, a representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front A Luoi District Committee inquired after and offered over 120 gifts, including necessities such as rice, fish sauce and cooking oil. The gifts, worth nearly VND 70 million in total, were donated by local enterprises and donors.
In addition, the A Dot Border Post presented 200 kg of rice, 50 boxes of instant noodles, 40 boxes of soft drinks, a box of medical face masks, and other necessities with a total value of nearly VND 15 million to the Ta Vang Police Station of Border Guard Company 531 of the Sekong Provincial Military Command.
On behalf of the local armed forces and people, Major Sengvisay Phetsaikham, Commander of Border Guard Company 531, expressed deep gratitude to the Vietnamese border guards and people in A Luoi District.
Reportedly, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Border Guard Command, the A Dot Border Post and the A Luoi District authorities and people have regularly provided food and medical equipment to support the armed forces and people of the Lao border localities to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
