The survey results showed that the border area between Vietnam’s Nghe An Province and Laos’ Xiangkhouang Province has remained generally stable, with territorial sovereignty firmly maintained and security and order ensured. The special solidarity and friendship between authorities, armed forces, and people on both sides continue to be strengthened, creating favorable conditions for organizing activities of the exchange.

The delegation surveys Muong Tip Commune. |
At Nam Can International Border Gate, the transport infrastructure meets operational requirements. Key venues, such as Nam Can Commune Stadium, Muong Xen Commune Stadium, and Nam Can 1 Primary School are considered suitable for hosting events of the exchange, including gift presentations, medical services, and cultural performances. Flexible plans are also being developed to accommodate large public participation.
The delegation reviewed logistics arrangements, accommodation for delegates, event venues, and reception plans for the Lao side, including both land and air transport options. Notably, a combined plan using helicopters and road movement from Muong Xen Commune to the border gate was assessed as highly feasible.

The delegation reviews and compiles surveyed locations. |
For social welfare activities within the program, such as the “Paving the way to school for children” initiative, livestock donations, medical examinations, and free medicine distribution, relevant units have identified appropriate beneficiaries and locations.
Concluding the survey, the delegation requested all units to finalize plans and proactively coordinate with Lao counterparts as well as local authorities to thoroughly review each component, particularly security, protocol, and logistics, before submitting to higher authorities for approval.
