In his remarks, Senior Captain Do Minh expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm welcome by the Philippine Navy since Frigate 015-Tran Hung Dao arrived in Manila. He emphasized that Vietnam - Philippines defense cooperation continues to develop positively and achieve positive results. The two navies have effectively maintained bilateral naval consultation mechanisms, promoted professional exchanges, and strengthened training and personnel development. They also successfully co-hosted the nineth Vietnam-Philippines Naval Friendship Exchange on Southwest Cay in Truong Sa (Spratly) Special Zone, Khanh Hoa province, contributing to greater mutual understanding and trust, expanding exchanges at all levels, enhancing professional capabilities, and promoting regional peace, stability, and maritime security.

For his part, Captain Steve Morata, Head of the Philippine Fleet Training and Doctrines Center under the Philippine Fleet, noted that the presence of Frigate 015-Tran Hung Dao in Manila serves as a vivid symbol of the friendship and cooperation between the two navies. He affirmed that the visit has further strengthened bilateral naval ties while providing an excellent opportunity for officers and sailors from both countries to deepen friendship, foster solidarity, and exchange professional expertise.
