Activities of 2nd Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange held in Houaphanh

A solemn welcome ceremony for the Vietnamese delegation, led by Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang, was held at Pahang Border Gate under the chair of Lao Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister General Chansamone Chanyalath.

Right after the welcome ceremony, the two ministers engaged in a number of activities, including saluting and painting the sovereign marker, planting a friendship tree, witnessing a joint patrol between the two countries’ border guard forces.
