The frigate arrived at the port after a three-day voyage from Guangzhou city, Guangdong province, China, ensuring absolute safety.

Commander Albert Absalon, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics under the Philippine Naval Defense Command, chaired the welcome ceremony at the port for the Vietnamese delegation. Senior Colonel Luong Van Manh, Vietnamese Defense Attaché to the Philippines, attended the event.

Commander Albert Absalon welcomed the Vietnamese delegation and expressed his hope that the visit and exchange activities would leave positive impressions on all members of the delegation.

On behalf of the Vietnam People's Navy delegation, Sr. Capt. Do Minh thanked the Philippine Navy for its respectful reception. He expressed confidence that the visit and exchange program would be a success, contributing to further strengthening mutual understanding and trust between the two militaries and navies.

During the stay in Manila, the Vietnam People's Navy delegation will participate in various activities with the Philippine Navy. They will pay courtesy calls, conduct ship visits, and participate in sports exchanges.
