Singapore Navy ship starts visit to Khanh Hoa

The Singaporean delegation is headed by Captain Siswi Herlini, Commander of the Singapore Maritime Training and Doctrine Command, and includes Commander Hu Junjie Daniel, Commanding Officer of the RSS Persistence, along with the ship's officers, sailors, and naval trainees.

Senior Captain Nguyen Hai Chau, Deputy Chief of Staff of Naval Region 4, presided over the welcome ceremony at the port. Representatives from the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, the Vietnam People's Navy, the Vietnam Coast Guard, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command, and Corps 20 attended the event.

During the visit, scheduled from August 1 to 5, the ship's commanding officers will pay courtesy calls on the leadership of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the Naval Region 4 Command, and the Naval Academy. The ship's sailors will participate in exchange activities with officers and cadets of the Naval Academy, as well as visit local cultural sites.

The visit by the Republic of Singapore Navy vessel is expected to further strengthen cooperation, mutual understanding, and trust between the two militaries and the two navies.
