In this content, Ship 09 was in Tactical Group 5, alongside naval ships from Malaysia and the host country, Indonesia. Twenty five ships and 20 aircraft from 15 participating countries checked communication, moved in formation, conducted law enforcement at sea, maneuvered for aerial photography, and held search and rescue operations.

Ship 09 pro-actively and actively participated in all activities with high responsibility. By 6p.m. the same day, the contents in the training phase were successfully completed, marking the end of activities within MNEK-5 framework.

Captain Lukman Kharish, a member of the organizing panel of MNEK-5, said that he was impressed with the performance of the Vietnamese naval troops during this exercise. “Your Navy has consistently participated in Komodo exercises and has been highly applauded for professionalism and active involvement. We hope to see your further participation in future exercises," said Captain Lukman Kharish.

The successful participation of the Vietnamese delegation in the exercise contributes to strengthening the friendly and cooperative relationship between the Vietnam People's Navy and the navies of Indonesia and other participating nations. It fosters mutual understanding and trust, helps prove the force’s coordination capabilities and  readiness to respond to common challenges, and promotes humanitarian and maritime security initiatives for peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.
