Refresher course for Lao officers concludes
PANO – A refresher course on military history research for officers of the Lao People’s Army successfully concluded on July 9 at Unit 871 of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army.
Addressing the event, Senior Colonel Duong Hong Anh, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Military History Institute, held that the course provided 13 special subjects for the Lao trainees, focusing on the methods, process, and relevant experience in conducting military history research and warfare summaries. He applauded the Lao officers for their active learning and studying during the course.

Within the framework of the course, the Lao trainees also exchanged experience with their Vietnamese counterparts in several units of the Naval Service and the Engineer Corps and toured some historical sites.
On behalf of the Lao trainees, Lieutenant Colonel Vansi Duangkhaythong, head of the Lao officers’ mission, held that the course provided basic contents related to the scientific research of military history, and believed that their acquired knowledge would facilitate their jobs in the time to come.
