The delegation toured the division’s barracks, facilities, equipment, and weapon systems for training and combat readiness, while also conversing with the unit’s officers and soldiers.

During the visit, the unit’s commanding officer Sr. Col. Robendo Navarro Cabneja provided an overview of the unit’s 60-year history. Notably, the division has distinguished itself as an exemplary unit within the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces, achieving remarkable results in training, combat readiness, and international missions.

On behalf of the delegation, Maj. Gen. Doan Xuan Bo expressed deep admiration for the division’s rich traditions and its steady growth in organization and strength. He also expressed his belief that the unit would continue to carry forward its revolutionary traditions, successfully accomplishing all tasks assigned by the Cuban Party, State, people, and armed forces, thereby proving itself as “the Iron Fist of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces” and contributing to the steadfast defense of the socialist Cuba.

In an atmosphere of warm comradeship and brotherhood, Gen. Bo briefed the host on the growth and remarkable achievements of the People’s Army Newspaper in recent years. He emphasized that the visit to the Armored Division 1011 helped the delegation gain broader insights, and collect valuable documents to support their future journalistic work.
