More Vietnamese officers to be trained in Singapore

PANO – Unit 871 under the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army on March 25^th held a ceremony to assign missions for officers to be trained in Singapore. These officers have been carefully selected from agencies and units in the whole army. 

Addressing the ceremony, a representative of Unit 871 clarified the purposes and significance of the English training course which is part of the cooperation plan between Vietnamese and ASEAN member countries’ armies.

He asked the officers to be fully aware of the studying mission, overcome difficulties and promote solidarity to achieve good results. They were also requested to strictly execute regulations of military external affairs as well as observe Singapore’s military regulations and customs.

The representative also affirmed that a good performance of the selected Vietnamese officers in Singapore will contribute to building a strong Vietnam People’s Army and strengthening the fine relationship and friendship between the two armies and peoples.
