Through this training course, the reporters and editors from both countries will share knowledge and practical experience in their profession, thereby enhancing the quality and efficiency of broadcasting programs for both armed forces. Additionally, this will further strengthen and develop the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos and, more specifically, between the Vietnam People's Army and the Lao People's Army.

During the three-month course, the Lao People's Army officers will receive training in various areas, including military broadcasting, television news, film shooting techniques, editing techniques, specialized academic subjects, documentary filmmaking, culture, sports, and entertainment programs, digital media communications, international broadcasting, television program production, and broadcasting procedures, production network systems, storage, electronic editing software, and television data. Besides, the trainees will have the opportunity to participate in field trips to various units within the Vietnam People's Army and attend the national broadcasting and television training session in the coastal area of Cua Lo, Nghe An province.

During this event, they will have the chance to meet and exchange experience with broadcasting and television professionals from different military branches and units of the Vietnam People's Army.
On behalf of the participants in the training course, Lieutenant Colonel Thatsany Phengsavath, Head of the Lao People's Army officer delegation, expressed his hope for assistance from the Military Broadcasting Center and Unit 871, during their time in Vietnam. They look forward to receiving support in research, learning, and daily activities to ensure the successful completion of their set plans and objectives.
* The same day, at the Naval Museum in Hai Phong city, a delegation of officers from the General Department of Political Affairs of the Lao People's Army, led by Lieutenant Colonel Phomsone Chumkhamphane, visited and exchanged experiences with the Political Department of the Naval Service. During the working session, Captain Ho Thanh Hoan provided an overview of the history of the Vietnam People’s Navy, the history, traditions, and achievements of the Political Department of the Naval Service, and shared some experience and exemplary models in Party and political work within the Navy.
On behalf of the visiting delegation, Lieutenant Colonel Phomsone Chumkhamphane expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality of the Political Department of the Naval Service and affirmed that the visit contributed to strengthening and enhancing the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.
The head delegate of the General Department of Political Affairs of the Lao People's Army expressed appreciation and took note of the experiences in Party and political work of the Vietnam People’s Navy. They also expressed the desire for the Vietnam People’s Navy and the Lao People's Army to continue engaging in more practical and effective activities to preserve and promote the special traditional relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
Before the meeting, the delegation visited the Naval Museum. In the coming time, the delegation is expected to continue visiting and exchanging experience at some naval units in the Northern region.
