Lao and Cambodian officers conclude training course in Vietnam
PANO – The Khanh Hoa province-based Signal Officer School of the Signal Corps held a graduation ceremony on July 16 for officers from the Lao People’s Army and Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.
During the course, the Lao and Cambodian trainees were equipped with basic knowledge of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thoughts, the military-defense and revolutionary cause of Vietnam in different periods, and social sciences and humanities related to military activities, to name but a few.
This program is expected to help them build up their scientific worldview, methodology of analysis, political stance, morality, and working style.
With the knowledge acquired from the course, the Lao and Cambodian officers are expected to better perform their tasks as advisors, managers, and commanders and be able to direct the effective use of equipment. The trainees are also encouraged to self-study and do more research to improve their professional expertise to meet the development of modern warfare.
All trainees completed the course with flying colors and the school granted a certificate of merit to one trainee with the best academic record.
