While carrying out its mission of constructing infrastructure and reinforcing facilities in Abyei, the ECR4 pro-actively launched the campaign in late May to promptly disseminate relevant legal regulations and implement family support policies for all of its personnel deployed in the mission.

This year’s campaign will run from June 1 to June 30.

Together with the communications section, which has been working beyond regular hours to prepare and broadcast key contents through the unit’s internal speaker system, logistics support activities have also been carried out with urgency. The unit is currently reviewing and compiling data on the children of officers who are living in difficult circumstances or have disabilities, with the goal of completing the list in the first days of June so that support policies and timely assistance can be provided to encourage and care for the families of deployed personnel.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thanh Son, Second-in-Command of the ECR4, affirmed that while carrying out missions far from the homeland, in addition to their professional duties at the worksite, every officer and staff bears the responsibility of representing the image and cultural values of the Vietnamese people. Caring for family affairs and protecting children form the foundation that enables their personnel to remain focused, confident, and steadfast in fulfilling their duties.

By taking pro-active measures, developing a well-structured communications plan, and promoting messages, such as “Compliance with laws on the prevention and control of domestic violence is the responsibility of every individual, family, and the whole society,” the ECR4 continues to demonstrate professionalism, comprehensiveness, and a strong sense of humanity in the international working environment.
