Delegation extends Chol Chnam Thmay greetings to RCAF cadets
PANO – On April 14, a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command and the Department of Political Affairs under the Vietnam Border Guard Command visited, presented gifts, and extended Chol Chnam Thmay (traditional New Year) greetings to cadets of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) studying at the Border Guard College.
At the event, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command and the Department of Political Affairs under the Vietnam Border Guard Command conveyed their best wishes for health and success to the Cambodian cadets and their families on the occasion of their traditional New Year.

They also commended the cadets for their efforts and achievements in study and training, expressing hope that they would continue to uphold responsibility, strictly observe discipline and regulations, and strive to become officers capable of contributing to Cambodia’s development. The leaders emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the solidarity and friendship between the armed forces and peoples of Vietnam and Cambodia.
A representative of the Border Guard College expressed gratitude to the Party Committee and Chain of Command of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command, as well as the Department of Political Affairs under the Vietnam Border Guard Command, for their attention and encouragement toward Cambodian cadets. The college's leader also voiced its expectation for continued coordination and support from these agencies to help fulfill its assigned tasks.
