After listening to the report from the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations (VNDPKO), General Vinh highly praised the L2FH Rotation 2’s efforts, particularly in grasping the operations and the experience shared by the L2FH Rotation 1. The deputy defense minister required the hospital’s leadership to make thorough consideration in ensuring that the procurement of supplies and medical equipment should meet the practical needs of the mission, noting that all the hospital's personnel should effectively contribute to reducing plastic waste.

Lieutenant Colonel Vo Van Hien, Director of the L2FH Rotation 2, said that four members of the hospital have arrived in Bentiu to prepare for the transfer of missions between the two Vietnamese level-two field hospitals. The transferring process will be implemented right after the arrival of personnel and assets of the L2FH Rotation 2, he added.

* The same day, the VNDPKO launched a training course on the operation of heavy engineering equipment for Vietnamese peacekeepers. The course falls within the framework of the UN Triangular Partnership Project (TPP) between Vietnam, the United Nations and Japan.
