According to General Nhien, knowledge equipped during the course will be a good foundation for the Cambodian trainees to apply to their real work in the future.
During one month, 25 Cambodian officers will learn 13 topics, do three exercises, and write an essay. They will also visit some historical relic sites and landscapes across Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province.
Since 2013, the Vietnam Military History Institute has opened eight similar courses for 196 Cambodian military officers. These trainees have effectively applied what they acquired during the courses to their scientific research work.
