The organizing panel selected three units with the highest scores in each category to join the Vietnam Border Guard Command-level competition.
In his opening speech, Maj. Gen. Le Van Phuc underlined the important role of the competition in providing an opportunity for the participants to exchange and learn from each other. It also aimed to raise troops’ competence and awareness of using neighboring countries’ languages to improve the dissemination of the Party's guidelines, State's policies and laws, while promoting Vietnam's unique cultural features to international friends.
