Refresher course for Lao military court officers opens

In his speech, Senior Colonel Hoang Huu Quy, Deputy Chief Justice of the Central Military Court, emphasized that in recent years, the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States, and militaries of Vietnam and Laos, particularly in the judicial field, have been continuously strengthened and developed.

Cooperation between the judicial agencies of the two militaries has a longstanding tradition and has yielded many positive results. This course continues and deepens the tradition of fruitful collaboration between the two countries.

During the month-long course, Lao officers will be equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience to support their future duties. At the same time, the Vietnamese side can also learn from the Lao officers’ perspectives to further improve its own operations.

Colonel Quy expressed his hope that the Lao trainees would make every effort to successfully complete the course.
