This year’s exchange gathered art troupes from the Vietnam People’s Army, the Public Security force and those from Lao, Cambodia, China, Malaysia and Myanmar militaries.

During the four-day event, starting December 19, participating military art troupes had their performances in many places in Hanoi, such as the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, at the Vietnam Defense Expo 2024, the Vietnam Military History Museum and on major streets in the capital city.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Gen. Nghia highly praised performances of participating foreign art troupes, contributing to spreading friendship to Vietnamese military and people. In return, they were warmly welcomed by Vietnamese people who love peace, are hospitable, united and friendly.

The Vietnamese general emphasized that in the coming time, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense will accelerate defense ties with foreign militaries in the world in different fields, including culture, for peace, cooperation, friendship and development. This aims to realize the Vietnamese Party and State’s foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization and diversification of international relations.
At the closing ceremony, domestic and international artists showed emotional performances imbued with solidarity, international friendship as well as the tradition, culture and noble values of each military.
