Vietnam’s strength sourced from the people

Attending the Vietnam Defense Expo 2024 hosted by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense for the first time, French Ambassador Olivier Brochet expressed his special impression with the organization, the large participation of businesses and the quality of the products introduced and displayed. The diplomat said that such quantity and quality of the showcased products prove that the exhibition has received a lot of attention. He said that Vietnam's strength comes from its people and the exhibition demonstrated the strength of the Vietnamese people in the Fatherland defense cause.

He agreed with the assessment that the Vietnam Defense Expo2024 organized on a larger scale than in 2022 showed that Vietnam is a friend of all countries and is consistent with the country's "Four No's" defense policy.

According to the ambassador, the participation of a large number of international delegations and businesses in the event demonstrated the quality of Vietnam's relationship with the rest of the world.

He highly praised Vietnam's defense industry products, including those from the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel). Ambassador Olivier Brochet affirmed that Vietnam has many opportunities to develop the defense industry.

Vietnam really values the development of defense industry

At the opening ceremony of the Expo, Vice Admiral Angus Topshee commented that he had the opportunity to meet many suppliers and their products that he had not seen at other defense expos before. He was pleased to see new solutions on defense and security introduced and displayed. These showed the diversity of the event hosted by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense.

The Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy spoke highly of the meaning of the expo’s theme "Peace, friendship, cooperation for mutual development." He said that it expressed the common goals and concerns of the international community, including both Vietnam and Canada.

What he sees is that Vietnam really values the development of the defense industry with modern combat systems.

And according to him, Vietnam and Canada can learn from each other. He himself learned a number of solutions from Vietnamese exhibitors and others after a tour around the Expo.
